We are currently working on Iron Horse Percherons Web site, please come back to see what we have changed!

Iron Horse Percherons is located in central Alberta.  Lee and Judy Dennis celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary recently and they have been raising and driving percheron horses for just as long.  Lee has used his horses to put on an annual threshing bee for the friends, family, neighbours, and school children in the area for 20 years.  It is their attempt at keeping a way of life and history alive for those of us who weren't around in the days of old when threshing crews were traveling the country.  Lee uses his horses throughout the winter choring and always seems to have a team in the barn getting broke, may of which he has sold to various breeders, showmen, and farmers. He has competed in team pulls as well as shows over the years.  His patience and eye for a good horse is always prevalent. Sought after bloodlines are found in the herd, most recently,  Vicalta Prince was used as a sire of the great young horses at Iron Horse Farm (see the sale horse page).
